Okay, three more weeks til Rach leaves... Joanna has NOT had the ultra sound as yet due to a mix up...
I think I have found a new apartment for me and Leroy. It's a place called Capitol Hill and it has an amazing view from the balcony of the apartment that I looked at. It's a one bedroom but not nearly as small as the one that I looked at by the mall. The kitchen is definitely smaller, but don't worry Leanne, not so small I can't bake cookies there. I'm leaving pretty much all my furniture for Joanna, Ryan and baby-to-be so I am going to get some new stuff at, where else, IKEA! It will take a while before I get it all together, but I think it will be nice when it's done...
I went to see Blue Rodeo in Kitchener last weekend and it was wonderful, as usual. Centre in the Square is an awesome venue. We had balcony seats, but there was so much legroom. I know when we went to see the symphony at Centennial hall, it was so cramped in the balcony...
We went garage saling on Saturday morning and I managed to find Joanna a stroller and a swing at bargain prices so that was good...
This is the first year in a very very long time that I am not going to be at the 24 hour relay at Harris Park but I hope that everyone has a great time. I will be packing stuff up from the old apartment to get ready to move it to the new one (and get it out of Joanna's way)...
Not much on tv right now. Can't get into Canadian Idol just yet, still too many contestants, however there is another competition show that has me hooked - Dancing with the Stars where they have a star pair up with a professional ballroom dancer and learn how to dance and then compete. They are scored by professional judges, but of course that only counts for half their score. The other half is determined by - you guessed it- call in votes. So it basically comes down to a popularity contest once again. But it's still fun to watch Joey McIntyre ballrooom dance.
I see that Mike is back from the East safe and sound. If you have a chance, visit his site on Flickr. He has some amazing pics of his trip - and yes Mike, I think the moose are grinning too.
